Saturday had been such a great day, how could Sunday compare? It was even better! The sun shone, Combe Down was bustling with visitors, lots of artwork and cards were purchased, food and drink consumed, compliments on the Trail all-round, and just a great spirit of art appreciation. As you can see from the photos taken on Sunday, it was a fantastic end to the 2018 Combe Down Art Trail! Thank you so much to everyone who came, the artists who took part and gave over their houses and workshops, to those who demonstrated their work, and to Jeni Wood, our tireless leader, and the hard-working team of Steve Wells, Ele Nash, and Vikki Yeates! We couldn't have asked for a better weekend - but I think we'll all need a year to recover!

This was our first time as exhibitors on the trail ( Venue 1) we had an absolute blast! The weather was kind and we had lots of wonderful visitors. A great weekend. 6/19/2019 04:58:20 pm
That was such a touching move. Every time I see artists who gathered together and help with a project, I am really becoming more inspired and encouraged to do art as well. Not all artists are in favor in this kind of work because some of them are very exclusive. I think it is not just the arts that paid us off, but also those hard works and efforts to be part of that happening. One of the artists I admire said that a real artist does not need appreciation by others. We do not need validation in life in order for us to pursue. Let us all follow excellence and our passion so success will follow. I was really touched whenever I see conference, events in where artists combined and become one.
