With the summer upon us, it's time to take a closer look at each venue on this year's Combe Down Art Trail. Every Friday in the lead up to the Trail (that is taking place on Saturday 7th - Sunday 8th September, 10am - 5pm) we'll be giving a taster of what to expect. So let's kick things off with venue 1, the Hub!
Animation workshop. Saturday and Sunday, 10am - 12pm and 2pm - 4pm
Music workshop. Drop in sessions on Saturday and Sunday, 2pm - 4pm
While the Art Trail volunteers are getting things ready for the Combe Down Art Trail on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September - including the rather lovely flyer designed by Steve Wells - we wanted to celebrate another success story by one of our artists.
For the second year running, Sally Muir has had a painting accepted into the prestigious Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition in London! Not only is her dog painting hanging on the esteemed walls of this fantastic gallery, it was also picked out by presenter Kirsty Wark on the BBC documentary about the exhibition!! We couldn't be prouder of Sally. The exhibition runs until 12th August 2019.
