Q1. Hello, Karen! How much are you looking forward to the Combe Down Virtual Art Trail?
So looking forward to it – it’s a rare chance to share my work but also to see what other artists have been creating during 2020. I’ve managed to get my website up and running to take payments so this event will be my first to try it out. (Have a look at https://www.trenjorydesigns.co.uk )Thanks for organising the event! Q2. You took part in the last Combe Down Art Trail. What is it about art trails that you enjoy? I love meeting people and talking about how my work is created. Having so many artists all exhibiting at the same time really creates a buzz in a community and often inspires visitors to pick up a paintbrush themselves. I always bring my sketch books for visitors to flick through as I think that they really give a window into what inspires me and how I work. Q3. What do you plan on exhibiting in the Combe Down Virtual Art Trail 2020 on Saturday 12th September? Well my artwork is all inspired by the natural environment – just love skies – particularly stormy ones! I’ve been doing a lot of mixed media work on paper this year so I’ll be sharing those as well as acrylic pieces that I have also been working on. I’ve got a few video clips of work in progress which I will post and may even get a video tour of my studio recorded for the event. A video tour sounds amazing! Thanks, Karen.
