Q1. Hello, Sara! How much are you looking forward to the Combe Down Virtual Art Trail?
I’m really excited to participate in this online event to share my passion for lino-cutting with our local community. This will be my first time trying to actively promote my art online, so I’m sure it will be a positive and enriching experience. Q2. You took part in the last Combe Down Art Trail. What is it about art trails that you enjoy? I’m actually very new to the concept of local art trails but as soon as I heard there was an annual one organised in the area where I live now I wanted to be part of it. I believe it’s very inspiring to know that there are many people around you with lots of brilliant ideas and talent to be shown and shared, therefore I really enjoyed participating in last year’s trail at the Hub. I hope to have enough creative time in the future to create new designs and participate in this art trail every year. Q3. What do you plan on exhibiting in the Combe Down Virtual Art Trail 2020 on Saturday 12th September? This year has been quite busy work-wise, therefore I haven’t had as much time as I would have wanted to create many new designs. For that reason I will be showing my 2019 cards, together with hand-made prints from my new 2020 lino-cut designs. I hope you like them!
