With the 1st June closing date for artist submissions only two months away, here's a reminder of what you need to do to take part as well as a list of our latest public venues. Do pass on this information to anyone you think might be interested, but priority will be given to artists living or working in the Combe Down area, including artists whose families live in Combe Down. SUBMISSIONS If you already know you want to take part in this year's trail, firstly, yay! Secondly, please return your submission form, sample images and £35 submission fee as soon as you can, particularly if you are wanting to exhibit in one of the public spaces listed below. PUBLIC VENUES If you don’t yet have a venue in Combe Down but would like to take part in this year’s trail (which will be held on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September 2019) there are currently three public spaces you might like to consider:
For all these public venues, setting up would need to take place on Saturday 7th before the 10am start to the trail. Artists are responsible for setting up their work and looking after their display. All three venues are locked and secure overnight so work can be left, but it is a good idea not to leave money overnight. Work must be taken away immediately after the trail finishes at 5pm on Sunday 8th.
