Submission is OPEN!

This year we again aim to reduce, reuse and recycle to keep costs down and do our bit to help protect the environment whilst putting on a good art trail.
You can take part in your own house/studio or in one of our public venues.

Private houses/studios

• Please let us know if you want your own premises to be on the trail and if you are willing to share with other artists.
• Please contact home/studio owner if you have previously shared their venue to check availability.

Public venues

• Community Centre. This year we are delighted to include the Community Centre in Hawthorn Grove as a new venue. The Centre was recently bought by St Andrew’s Church and is being completely refurbished. It is a lovely light space with plenty of room (and a kitchen!). There is no wall hanging space so the room is more suited to table top use, or your own easels or exhibition stands. (Tables and chairs available for us to use.)
• King William IV. You may have seen the notice outside Tynings that the King William IV pub is reopening shortly – we will pursue this as a possible venue, it would be good to have the pub back on the art trail.

The Museum of Bath Stone has been refurbished and unfortunately is not available as a venue for artists this year. If you have enjoyed exhibiting at the Museum in the past please think about trying the Community Centre this year or let us know if you have other ideas for venues.

Village gallery

• Posters on Combe Down School railings. These have proved to be very popular. We will display artists’ posters and those done by the schoolchildren on the railings again this year during the art trail weekend and for a few days before to put on a good show.

Website

• We will update the Combe Down Art Trail website with artwork and information (more about this later).

FEES
We have kept the fee at £30 which covers the costs of the posters, items we have to buy, advertising and the charges for the art trail website. We will reuse as many lanterns and venue numbers saved from the last art trail to keep costs to a minimum.
What to do now 

• Please complete and submit the application form and email it to us at [email protected].
• Attach two good quality photos to your email. If possible, please crop the photos to a square format.
• Pay £30 fee, either by bank transfer or cheque (see details on the application form) as soon as possible please.
