Just because the next Combe Down Art Trail isn't for another eleven months, that doesn't mean our local artists stop working until then! So let us continue our features with updates about their latest ventures...
Mike Arnold - who showed his work at venue 1 (5 Stonehouse Close) - was asked by hotel and spa, The Combe Grove Manor, to exhibit his paintings in their stunning grade two listed house. Mike says: 'l now have half a dozen paintings hanging at Combe Grove, after the new owners saw my work while visiting the Art Trail.'
Sally Jefferies exhibited her paintings at venue 5 (5 Combe Road) and sold many over the Art Trail weekend. Since then, she has exhibited at the Bath Open Studios exhibition in the RUH. She has been working on new glass paintings for the upcoming Combe Down Exploring Art Group's show which takes place in The Cornerstone (venue 8) from the 11th - 19th November, 10-4.
Sally says: 'After the positive response to my glass paintings on the Trail, I've enjoyed experimenting with more of them using rich, autumnal colours.' Please click on the button to find out about all the artists taking part in the exhibition.
